Design Process
Avalon uses a collaborative approach to project design, integrating the Client into the design process for a full understanding of project goals and budget. We understand the value of the team, meeting with consultants, realtors, jurisdictions, and contractors early and as appropriate for each application. This successful collaborative approach yields quality projects on time and within budget.
Not all projects require the same design information gathering techniques. We will use the design process which works best for your organization and project. Avalon has developed specific questionnaires, facilitated design workshops and conducted one-on-one interviews for a variety of projects. Resulting design programs are thorough, precise in detail, and definitive in a range of issues. We research space needs, inter-adjacency requirements, code analysis, equipment, furniture needs, mechanical and electrical requirements. Avalon assesses and meets immediate and long-range needs. Throughout the project we review programming requirements to ensure success.
